Chemical process equipment, consisting of glass lined reactors or mixing tanks with distillation glass overhead are mainly used under vacuum for distillation, reflux distillation for different chemical synthesis and solvent recovery. Our 3-D engineering enables the integration of large glass lined reactors of different suppliers in combination with our glass components, forming a complete reaction system for production scale. Stirred nutsche filters by Büchi are used for filtration as well as for solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). They can easily be combined with Büchi reactors for solid / liquid separation after the synthesis. The inert materials allow safe processing in an inert atmosphere of a wide range of solvents and acids in a completely sealed (büchiflex) glass system under full vacuum.

As solid phase reactors, they can be equipped for fully automated processes. Stirrers are provided in glass lined steel, Hastelloy® or stainless steel. The stirrer height can be adjusted pneumatically under full vacuum operation condition, which enables the squeezing of the slurry. More information

Glass-lined reactors of Thaletec offer excellent resistance to corrosion, abrasion, pressure, water vapor, thermal shock, and wear. The reactors in the AE design are characterized by a main flange gasket with the same diameter as the total reactor. The system comes with an agitator system, baffle, sample extraction and several measuring probes (incl. conductivity, PT100, pH, etc.).

All type of glass-lined equipment from Thaletec, Pfaudler and De Dietrich can be reglassed if the glass-lining is worn, damaged or corroded. More information

Heat exchangers are used for cooling and condensation, mainly in vacuum distillation, absorption and rectification processes in chemical plants. Glass heat exchangers enable visual process control during scale-up and production and processing of multiple (acidic) chemical substances.
